Stree (2018), directed by Amar Kaushik and starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, follows the mysterious events in Chanderi, where a spirit named Stree haunts the town. Its sequel, Stree 2, which introduced a new antagonist, premiered earlier this year. Meanwhile, Bhediya (2022), featuring Varun Dhawan as a shape-shifting werewolf, offers a thrilling twist to the genre. This year’s Munjya, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and starring Sharvari and Abhay Verma, quickly became a fan favorite, adding new layers to the supernatural universe.
Adding to the Halloween spirit, PVR Cinemas will also screen Hollywood classics like The Conjuring series and It, giving horror enthusiasts a comprehensive cinematic experience. Fans can also look forward to upcoming Maddock films like Thamba, featuring vampires, and new sequels in the supernatural series.
