In the past 24 hours, over 10 flights operated by Indian carriers have been targeted with bomb threats, leading to extensive security measures and flight diversions. The affected flights included those operated by IndiGo, Akasa Air, Vistara, and Air India Express, according to airline officials.

Vistara Airlines faced bomb threats on three of its international flights. A Delhi-to-London flight was diverted to Frankfurt early Saturday morning, where it underwent thorough security checks before continuing its journey after no threats were found. Two other Vistara flights en route to Paris and Hong Kong were similarly impacted. Flight UK21 from Delhi safely landed at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, where security protocols were followed. Likewise, flight UK161 to Hong Kong landed safely, and no suspicious activity was detected after checks.

An Air India Express flight from Dubai to Jaipur, carrying 189 passengers, also received a bomb threat via email. Security checks were conducted upon landing in Jaipur, but no threat was confirmed.

IndiGo airlines reported bomb threats on multiple flights, including 6E 17 and 6E 11, both traveling to Istanbul, and 6E 184 from Jodhpur to Delhi. Similarly, Akasa Air confirmed that several of its flights had received security alerts, with one flight, QP 1366 from Bengaluru to Mumbai, affected.

All flights were cleared after thorough checks, with no suspicious items found on board. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incidents.
