The British band, known for its massive global fanbase, is set to return to India after nine years, with performances scheduled at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on January 18 and 19, 2025. Social media was soon flooded with complaints, as users on platform X expressed their frustration. One user remarked, "Getting sold out on Coldplay is understandable, but they didn’t even prepare the servers for this. Why host the sale?"

While the site was quickly restored, fans found themselves facing long virtual queues, with some reporting over six lakh people ahead of them. Screenshots of waiting messages soon spread online, fueling further discontent.

Ahead of the Mumbai concerts, Coldplay is set to release their album Moon Music on October 4, 2024, emphasizing sustainability. The tour, already the most attended in history, will continue into 2025 with stops in cities like Abu Dhabi, Seoul, and Hong Kong.
