BJP MP PC Mohan has strongly demanded a complete halt to all government-level engagements and business deals with Turkish and Pakistani companies, citing their unfavorable stance toward India in international matters. The Bengaluru Central MP voiced particular concern over Turkey’s open support for Pakistan during critical moments of the India-Pakistan conflict.
BBMP paid Turkey-based Altinok Consulting ₹4.7 Cr for a feasibility study on 124-km elevated corridors and 46-km tunnels in Bengaluru, then withdrew it because it was utter garbage, just like their Songar drones. State Govt must ban Turkish and Pakistani firms from further bids.

Mohan’s remarks come in response to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) having previously signed a study agreement with a Turkish firm for a major infrastructure project in the city. The plan included a detailed assessment of a 125-kilometer corridor and a 45-kilometer tunnel road. The BBMP had awarded a Rs 4.7 crore tender to the Turkish firm for this study. However, following political and public objections, the tender was eventually withdrawn.
Highlighting this in a social media post, Mohan warned against entrusting strategic infrastructure projects to firms from countries that have shown hostility toward India. Drawing a comparison, he stated that awarding tenders to such companies would be as ineffective as the drones manufactured in those nations, hinting at security and performance concerns.
PC Mohan emphasized that both state and central governments must remain vigilant about foreign collaborations, especially with entities from Turkey and Pakistan. He stressed the need to prioritize national interest in all official engagements and tender processes. He further appealed to the Karnataka state government to officially ban all business and infrastructure-related agreements with companies from these two nations.
