BBMP has unveiled the ‘Brand Bengaluru’ logo in anticipation of the upcoming Brand Bengaluru Conclave, set to take place on October 9.

This conclave serves as a platform for addressing various challenges faced by the city, such as traffic congestion, pollution, and water scarcity.

Scheduled for October 9, the ‘Brand Bengaluru’ Conclave, hosted by Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister DK Shivakumar, aims to position Bengaluru as a global attraction.

Esteemed attendees are expected to offer insights across diverse facets of city development, encompassing tourism, healthcare, investments, education, research, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, innovation, job creation, and economic mobilization.

The event is anticipated to draw ministers, MLAs, MPs, MLCs, senior government officials from various departments, retired IAS and IPS officers, as well as experts who will address eight distinct subjects falling under the Brand Bengaluru umbrella.

The Brand Bengaluru initiative places significant emphasis on efficient urban planning, sustainable drainage systems, effective transportation networks, intelligent traffic management, pedestrian-friendly streets, citizen safety, and convenience.

It envisions well-designed sidewalks, dedicated cycling lanes, and green spaces to promote active transportation and foster healthy lifestyles, with the ultimate goal of creating a pollution-free and verdant metropolis.
