Murali Nayak, aged 25, joined the Indian Army in December 2022 under the AV (OPR) trade. Despite coming from humble beginnings in a remote village in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Sathya Sai district, he showed remarkable determination to serve the nation. His sacrifice has filled his home village of Pudagundlapalli Tanda in Gorantla Mandal with both pride and sorrow.

Upon hearing the heartbreaking news, Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Social Welfare, Sumithramma, visited the bereaved family to offer support and condolences. Other key leaders, including Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nara Lokesh, are also expected to attend his final rites. A massive crowd has already gathered to pay their last respects, and strict police security has been enforced in anticipation of the large turnout.

Murali Nayak’s final journey will be held with full military and state honors, as chants of "Murali Nayak Amar Rahe!" echo through the village.
