Millionaire tech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson, known for his efforts to reverse ageing, recently took to social media to share details of his latest anti-ageing procedure, a total plasma exchange (TPE). Johnson, who follows an intensive health regimen under his Project Blueprint, claims to have reduced his epigenetic age by 5.1 years.

In a post on X, Johnson described undergoing TPE, where his plasma was replaced with albumin. TPE is a procedure used in regenerative medicine to remove toxins from the body. “The evidence is still emerging,” Johnson said, explaining that TPE aims to improve health and slow ageing.

Johnson shared that the clinic operator, who had performed TPE for nine years, called his plasma the "cleanest" he had ever seen. "He couldn't bring himself to throw it away," Johnson wrote, dubbing his plasma “liquid gold.”

Johnson spends over $2 million annually on his anti-ageing efforts, which include a strict diet, exercise, and various treatments. He had previously gained attention for conducting a “world’s first multigenerational plasma exchange” with his 17-year-old son, but clarified that this time his own plasma was replaced with albumin.

In a lighthearted moment, Johnson posted a picture of himself holding a bag of straw-coloured plasma to document the experience.
