Businessman Sanjay Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband, died after bee sting incident

Sanjay Kapoor, a renowned businessman and ex-husband of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor, passed away unexpectedly on June 12 in England at the age of 53. The cause of death has shocked many — a tragic reaction to a bee sting.

Reports indicate that Kapoor was playing polo when a bee flew into his mouth, allegedly triggering a severe allergic reaction that led to a heart attack. A distressing video of his final moments has since gone viral on social media, showing Kapoor lying unconscious on the field while medical personnel attempted CPR. Despite their efforts, there was no response.

Kapoor's funeral took place in New Delhi on June 19, with his 15-year-old son, Kiaan, performing the last rites. The event was attended by close family and friends, marking a solemn farewell. A tribute meeting to honour Kapoor's life and legacy was held at the Taj Palace in Delhi on June 22.
