In a shocking incident that unfolded on Wednesday evening, a staff member at Namma Filter Coffee in Bengaluru’s Seshadripuram area was brutally assaulted by four men after he refused to provide an extra cup of coffee without charge.

The assault took place around 6:50 p.m. when the group entered the café and ordered coffee. According to the complaint filed, the men demanded an additional cup to share their drink. When the employee declined the request and suggested purchasing another coffee instead, the situation quickly escalated.

Eyewitnesses said the men began verbally abusing the staffer, using foul and threatening language. The argument turned violent as the assailants reportedly slapped him on the head, punched his face, and kicked him in the stomach, causing injuries. Other employees and customers were left stunned by the sudden and brutal attack.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Seshadripuram Police Station, a central Bengaluru locality known for its residential and commercial establishments. A formal complaint has been lodged with police, and an investigation is ongoing to identify and apprehend the attackers.

The coffee shop management has condemned the violence and is cooperating with authorities. The staffer is said to be recovering, while the police are examining CCTV footage and gathering witness statements to move the case forward.
