In another operation, CCB officials apprehended a security guard moonlighting as a drug peddler. The accused was found with 3.2 kg of narcotics worth ₹2.5 lakh. Further raids led to the seizure of 1,500 Tramadol tablets and 870 injections, suspected to be intended for illegal distribution.
The CCB has been actively tracking drug syndicates operating in Bengaluru, with recent operations aimed at dismantling their networks. Authorities have urged citizens to report any suspicious activities related to drug trade and assured continued action against offenders.
With the city witnessing a surge in drug-related cases, law enforcement agencies are ramping up efforts to curb the menace and prevent illicit substances from reaching local communities.
