The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 today. Higher Education Minister M.C. Sudhakar officially released the results at the KEA office in Malleswaram, covering 3,11,991 candidates who appeared for the examination. Of them, 2,75,677 have qualified.

Top Rankers Across Streams
In the engineering stream, Bhavesh Jayanthi from Chaitanya Techno School, Marathahalli, Bengaluru, secured the top rank with a score of 99.06. Satwika Biradhar of Sri Chaitanya Techno School, Uttarahalli, and Dinesh from Bengaluru secured the second and third positions, respectively.
In the agriculture category, the top three ranks were bagged by Akshay M, Saish Saravana, and Suchith. Meanwhile, in the nursing stream, Harish Raj from Narayana E-Techno, Yelahanka, clinched the first position, followed by Athreya of National Public School, HSR Layout, and Shapal Shetty from Mangaluru.
Controversy Candidate Given Rank
In a notable development, Suchivrit Kulkarni—who was embroiled in a ‘janiwar’ controversy in Bidar and missed the mathematics paper—has been allotted an engineering rank of 2,06,000. KEA clarified that he has been included in the merit list following official review.
Counseling to Begin Soon
With the results now out, KEA is set to begin the counseling process. Officials assured that stringent measures have been implemented to avoid repeat incidents of seat blocking that occurred in previous years.
