Chandan Shetty-Nivedita Gowda divorce: What’s the real reason behind the split?

With the news that the famous Sandalwood couple Chandan and Nivedita have headed for a mutual divorce, fans are indeed shocked and rumour mills are indeed agog!

One of the reasons being cited is that Nivedita wants to continue her studies abroad. Whether Chandan has a bone to pick with apropos this reason is not known, but the two have decided to part ways amicably.

Reports suggest that the two approached the family court at Shantinagar in Bengaluru in this regard and informed the court of their decision. The court has reportedly answered in the affirmative. 

The two were participants in Bigg Boss season 5. Slowly but surely Cupid struck them and the two participants graduated to become life partners. 

Chandan proposes to Nivedita during Dasara 

A few years ago, Chandan proposed to Nivedita openly during the Dasara celebrations. The move had garnered widespread publicity and attracted a lot of criticism. 

Nivedita is said to be a bold girl, often seen in dashing clothes. Fans on her social media account have repeatedly raised this issue, but she has not taken them seriously. 

The move for separation has indeed come as a bolt from the blue.
