BY Vijayendra, son of Lingayat strongman and former CM BS Yediyurappa, has been appointed as the new state president for Karnataka state BJP.

BJP national president JP Nadda sent out an order in this regard.

It was Nalin Kumar Kateel who preceded him. Under him, Karnataka lost the state elections earlier this year.

It’s exuberance and enjoyment in Karnataka state BJP as Vijayendra takes over as the new party chief. He is known for his organisational power and the clout he wields over the youth.

Vijayendra is known for his organisational prowess and the way he attracts young blood.

Outgoing pres Nalin Kumar Kateel, speaking exclusively with NewsFirst Prime, said, “I am happy for him. He is a very good organiser. I wish him all the best. I have seen him work as a general secretary. It is not because he is Yediyurappa’s son.”

Aruna Devi, Vijayendra’s sister, said, “It’s a big responsibility on his shoulders. It’s a big thing for us during Deepavali. We had not expected this news. We were taking a walk when he heard this unexpected news. Our father BS Yediurappa will tutor him. More than a celebration, it is a responsibility.”

His sister added, “The challenges faced by my father are different from what BY Vijayendra faces. The challenges he faces may be different. To me, responsibilities are akin to challenges. He has to work day and night to bring everyone together.”
