In a disturbing incident near a reputed ice cream parlour in Bengaluru’s MC Layout, Vijayanagar, a group of unruly individuals created chaos and attempted assault after being denied dine-in service during closing hours. The incident took place around 12:50 PM under the jurisdiction of Govindarajanagar Police Station.

According to eyewitnesses, the miscreants arrived at the parlour shortly before its scheduled closing time. When they requested to be served inside the premises, the staff politely informed them that only parcel service was being provided due to the closure process underway. This seemingly minor refusal triggered a violent outburst from the group.
Agitated by the staff's response, the individuals began shouting and forcibly entered the parlour. In their frenzy, they pushed the store’s computer system, shouted threats, and demanded the shop be vacated immediately. The situation escalated further as they attempted to assault staff members at the billing counter.
Fortunately, no major injuries were reported, and the staff managed to retreat to safety. The entire episode was captured on the parlour’s CCTV cameras, which have now become crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation.
Govindarajanagar police have launched a probe based on the footage and statements from staff members. They are working on identifying the culprits and have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible for this act of intimidation and vandalism.
