Kollywood actor Vishnu Vishal shared pictures after being rescued by officials from the fire and rescue team from his house in Karapakkam amidst the floods caused by the rain. Bollywood star Aamir Khan was also spotted in one of the pictures. Vishnu Vishal’s wife, badminton player Jwalla Gutta was also featured in the photo. “Thanks to the fire and rescue department in helping people like us who are stranded. Rescue operations have started in karapakkam..Saw 3 boats functioning already. Great work by TN govt in such testing times. Thanks to all the administrative people who are working relentlessly, (sic)” Vishal expressed through a post on the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter).
Vishal had earlier requested for help after having been stranded in his house. “Water is entering my house and the level is rising badly in Karapakkam. I have called for help. No electricity no wifi. No phone signal. Nothing. Only on terrace at a particular point i get some signal. Lets hope i and so many here get some help I can feel for people all over Chennai (sic),” he said on X.
Aamir Khan is reported to have shifted to Chennai in October to be with his mother Zeenat Hussain who is receiving medical treatment.
