Finally, the bank reversed the transaction

Rajkumar works as a taxi driver in Chennai. One day, as he was enjoying an afternoon siesta, he got a message on his cellphone, informing him that an amount of Rs 9000 crore had been deposited in his account. 

For someone like the cabbie we are talking about, counting the humongous figure was next to impossible. Initially, he dismissed it as a prank. 

However, he spoke to his friend about the transfer. Later on, he even transferred an amount of Rs 21000 to his friend. But later, he found out that the balance amount had been deducted from his bank. 

The next day, the bank officials rushed to Rajkumar and educated him about the embarrassing gaffe that had cost the bank crores and crores of rupees. 

In fact, reports also add that one of the bank employees went a step further and threatened Rajkumar that they would file a police complaint against him. 

Unfazed, Rajkumar sought legal advice. The next day, he went to the nearest bank, where a truce session was held. 

As of now, both the parties have agreed on a win-win formula. As per reports, the bank officials have even asked the cabbie not to return the Rs 21,000 amount he had given his friend. And on top of this, the bank officials have further offered Rajkumar a car loan. 

Incidentally, before the transaction happened, Rajkumar’s account did not have more than Rs 105 in it!
