Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s historical drama Chhaava has taken the box office by storm, emerging as Bollywood’s first blockbuster of 2025. The film has also become Kaushal’s highest-grossing project, surpassing Uri: The Surgical Strike and Raazi.

Despite entering its second week, Chhaava continues its stellar run. On its second Saturday, the film witnessed an 87% surge in earnings, raking in ₹44 crore. Trade tracker Sacnilk reports that its total net collection in India has now reached ₹286.75 crore.
With 6,530 screenings nationwide, the film has maintained high audience engagement. Pune led in occupancy with 85.75% across 774 shows, followed by Chennai at 81.50% over 55 screenings. Mumbai and Delhi-NCR recorded occupancy rates of 74% and 46%, respectively.
Within just nine days, Chhaava crossed ₹250 crore, officially becoming Kaushal’s biggest hit. It has already surpassed Uri (₹244.14 crore) and is poised to set new records, further solidifying his position as a bankable star.
For Rashmika Mandanna, Chhaava marks her third consecutive Bollywood blockbuster exceeding ₹200 crore, following Pushpa 2: The Rule and Animal. With her consistent success, she continues to establish herself as a major box office draw.
