Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets have changed our lives mammothly. Gone are those days when these phones were used only to make or receive phone calls. Now, these phones are polymorphic.
However, on the flip side, these electronic gadgets are not doing any good for our kids as they get exposed to them perennially. The more they spend time looking at them, the more they get affected negatively.
Dr Disha Kumar, a pediatrician explains, “Most children don’t talk because of excessive exposure. That is because they don’t interact with us. There is an absence of flow of information. If you give them these gadgets 24/7, they will cause major tantrums. They should be exposed to a realistic lifestyle. Sadly, such prolonged exposure to screen time can even lead to obesity.”
On Children's Day, Dr Disha Kumar, a pediatrician tells us the importance of lessening screen time for kids.
She also educates us on how to minimize the screen time organically. #Children#ScreenTime#gadgets#FamilyMeeting#Addiction#obesitypic.twitter.com/poP5sg0F0i

Increase inquisitiveness among children
The doctor is of the opinion that inquisitiveness among children is a boon.
She adds, “Don’t kill inquisitiveness in children. If you do so, you will be killing creativity. For them, their parents are their superheroes. So if you nurture this trait, perhaps, you may be nurturing an Einstein or an Abdul Kalam!”
Children's inquisitiveness is a boon. If you shut them down, their creativity will die, says Disha Kumar, pediatrician on Children's Day. #ChildrensDay#Child#family#bondingpic.twitter.com/0ePy8HsOI7
