The attack has led to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan. India has responded by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty and closing the Attari land border crossing, measures Pakistan has condemned as “Acts of war.” In retaliation, Pakistan has suspended trade with India and closed its airspace to Indian airliners.

During the call, Dar emphasized that Pakistan is determined to address the situation maturely and has always opposed terrorism. He also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability. Dar thanked China for its steadfast support and reaffirmed the strength of their strategic partnership. There was no immediate response from India regarding the statements made by China and Pakistan.
