A case of gross negligence from the medical staff unfolded in the district hospital of Chitradurga

The couple and their family members unleashed their fury on the medical staf

A case of gross negligence from the medical staff has surfaced from the Chitradurga district of Karnataka. The incident unfolded in the district hospital of Chitradurga. A couple named Parameshwara and Geetha were full of joy with the birth of a baby boy on the 24th of October at 1:49 PM. They were informed that the baby would have to be kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a period of one hour. 

The couple waited till the evening but saw no signs of the medical staff returning their baby. They then finally decided to have a word with the medical staff. To their shock, the staff informed them that their baby had already been returned to them. It was then that they learnt that their child had been handed over to another individual named Amruthavarshini. 

The couple and their family members unleashed their fury on the medical staff and the doctors. “Are you using the hospital for treating patients or for some other purpose?” the family members asked. When the issue escalated beyond control, District Surgeon Dr Ravindra and other officials intervened. They acknowledged the error on their end and promised the couple that their child would be returned to them.
