Citroen India launches Citroen Aircross SUV

Citroen India has officially launched the new Citroen Aircross SUV at a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has opened bookings for the model, with deliveries set to begin on October 8.

The updated Aircross comes with two petrol engine options: a 1.2-litre Gen-3 Puretech 110 turbo engine and a newly added 1.2-litre Puretech 82 naturally aspirated engine. The turbo engine produces 110bhp and 190Nm of torque, while the naturally aspirated unit offers 82bhp and 110Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and automatic for the turbo variant, while the naturally aspirated version is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Citroen has introduced several new features in the Aircross to improve safety and comfort. Notable additions include six airbags, Isofix child seat anchors, an electronic stability program, tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill-hold assist. The SUV now boasts over 40 safety features, providing a more secure driving experience.

On the design front, the Aircross features LED projector headlamps, automatic climate control, and enhanced interiors with power-folding ORVMs, rear AC vents, and power window switches on the doors. The SUV is available in both 5-seater and 5+2 seating configurations, with the boot offering a spacious 511 litres when the third row is removed.

The Citroen Aircross comes in three variants: You, Plus, and Max, catering to different customer preferences.
