Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited the newly developed Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Accompanied by the airport's CEO, Hari Marar, Naidu engaged in a detailed interaction with airport officials and passengers to assess the range of facilities available for both domestic and international travellers.

The CM was particularly impressed by the terminal’s state-of-the-art amenities seamlessly integrated into a natural setting. Terminal 2, often referred to as a “terminal in a garden,” features lush green spaces, a bio-diverse environment, and eco-conscious design elements that enhance the traveller experience while promoting sustainability.

Naidu praised Terminal 2’s role as a multimodal transit hub and its harmonious blend of modernity and ecology. He called it an inspiring benchmark for the kind of airports Andhra Pradesh aims to build in the future.

During his visit, he also held discussions with senior officials to understand operational aspects, passenger services, and technological innovations implemented at the terminal. He emphasized that these learnings would significantly contribute to Andhra Pradesh’s strategy for developing world-class aviation infrastructure.

“The key takeaways from this visit will greatly inform our strategies in building globally competitive, eco-friendly, and passenger-centric airports in Andhra Pradesh,” Naidu remarked.

His visit underscores the state government’s forward-looking approach to infrastructure development, drawing inspiration from leading models within India.
