CM Siddaramaiah offers assurance to techie from Karnataka stuck in Israel

Pooja, hailing from Bagalkot has been working with the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for the past 18 months in Israel has been left terrorised due to the multiple attacks on the state by Hamas. Her family members had an interaction with Ramappa Balappa Timmapur, Member of Legislative Assembly from the Indian National Congress from the Mudhol constituency in Bagalkot.  Subsequently, an interaction was arranged between Pooja and Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah. “I have talked to Pooja. I assured her that her safety will be a priority for the government. You can be rest assured that we are there for you,” Siddaramaiah told her family members. 

Meanwhile Siddaramiah has expressed his concerns with regard to the safety of the people of Karnataka in Israel. He asked them to exercise caution and follow the guidelines of the local authorities. He asked citizens  to avoid travelling unless absolutely essential and station themselves near bomb shelters. “In cases of any citizens of India hailing from Karnataka in Israel requiring assistance, reach out to Karnataka State Emergency Operation Centre Helpline numbers: 08022340676, 08022253707,” he stated.
