CM Siddaramaiah’s statement on Pahalgam attack sparks stir in Pakistan; video goes viral

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s remarks on the recent Pahalgam terror attack have created a political storm, with Pakistani media broadcasting his statement prominently. The video has since gone viral, drawing sharp criticism from BJP leaders.

Speaking in Mysuru, Siddaramaiah condemned the attack but emphasized that there is no need to wage war against Pakistan. He stressed the importance of strengthening security measures instead. "Necessary steps should be taken to protect pilgrims. War is not the solution; we want peace and the safety of our people," he said. Siddaramaiah also blamed the central government, calling the incident a "failure of intelligence and security," and expressed grief, noting that no action could bring back the 26 lives lost.
