Coldplay’s Republic Day Concert Live in Ahmedabad on January 26

Global music sensation Coldplay has a special treat for Indian fans this Republic Day. The band announced that their concert at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 26 will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar.

In a heartfelt Instagram video, lead vocalist Chris Martin shared, “Namaste to all our friends in India. We are so happy to tell you that on January 26, our show from Ahmedabad is streaming live on Disney+ Hotstar. We hope you can join us. Much love.”

Coldplay’s India tour kicks off in Mumbai on January 18 with three performances at the DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21. Fans can also look forward to opening acts by Shone, Elyanna, and Jasleen Royal.

The tour, organized by BookMyShow Live, continues with back-to-back shows in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26. This marks the band’s return to India after their last performance in 2016.

After wrapping up their India tour, Coldplay will head to Hong Kong and South Korea in April as part of their ongoing Music of the Spheres world tour.

Formed in 1996, the British rock band includes Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and manager Phil Harvey.
