The Congress party continues to criticize the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Prajwal Revanna sexgate.
In its latest jibe, the grand old party released a photo in which the prime minister is seen campaigning for the accused. Supriya Shrinate, a Congress spokes tore into the prime minister, alleging that he is batting for those accused of crimes against women.

Furthermore, she also alleged that the prime minister is throwing his weight behind the accused rather than saving the lives of the oppressed women.
To buttress her point, she also pointed out how the prime minister stood by Brij Bhushan, an accused in another sexual case related to women’s wrestlers.
Training her guns on central leader Smriti Irani, she wondered why she has been so conspicuous by her silence. She also pointed her fingers at how the accused Prajwal Revanna was allowed to flee the country, without the connivance of the central government.
In the meantime, a homa was conducted at Prajwal Revanna's house seeking divine intervention.
