Sandalwood actor Guru Rajkumar also referred to as Yuva or Junior Powerstar is faced with marital problems. The first divorce case filed among the extended family of the late Sandalwood actor Dr Rajkumar created shockwaves across Karnataka. Both Yuva and his wife Sridevo had levelled charges against each other. Yuva accused Sridevi of mentally harassing him. Sridevi had alleged that Yuva had been having extra marital affairs. 

Yiva and Sridevi had fallen in love with each other before getting married. The fissures caused in their marriage has now turned into a legal dispute. The court has notified a date for the mediation and counselling after listening to arguments from both sides. This will take place on August 23rd. What the couple has decided after this session will be taken into consideration. The arguments pertaining to the objection of divorce will only be heard after his session. Justice Kalpana M.S provided directions to this effect.

Even as the legal case is being fought, Sridevi made a post wherein she thanked the media personnel for respecting her privacy. She threw light on certain falsehoods being circulated about her. She affirmed that she would provide clarity with regard to the falsehoods in a timely fashion. She thanked her friends and family for standing by during such difficult times. She updated her followers about leaving for America for an academic pursuit at Harvard University.
