Star cast of 'Animal' visits Bengaluru; promises engrossing experience despite long running time

The crew of Animal including producers Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Venkata K Narayana who is handling the production in the state of Karnataka and actors Ranbir Kapoor who plays the male lead, Rashmika Mandanna who plays the female lead and Bobby Deol who plays the antagonist had gathered in Bangalore to promote the film which would be released on December 1st in theatres. Ranbir Kapoor even attempted to speak in Kannada and wished everyone a Happy Kannada Rajyotsava.

The crew had the confidence that despite the fact that the running time of the film is 3 hours and 21 minutes, the film would be engaging to the audience as that time period is required to explore the character’s psychological dilemmas. It would be a family crime drama containing elements of relationship conflicts as well as action.

Rashmika Mandanna, the actress of the film stated that she enjoyed the experience of acting in an intense film and would look forward to similar roles in the future as well. She spoke about her character Geetanjali and how it is different from Preethy Sheety in the film Arjun Reddy which was also directed by Sandeep Reddy. “Geetanjali is a character who knows the character of the hero better than anyone else in the film. She has grown up looking at him. She is married to him and she is the mother of his child. The intensity of their love cannot be compared to what Sandeep sir has done before. This is a story about a family although there are a lot of beautiful scenes about the chemistry between Geetanjali and the hero,” she said.
