Cricket: Young India creates history with blockbuster win at Edgbaston

After a stinging defeat in Leeds, Team India bounced back with a thundering performance at Edgbaston, Birmingham, scripting history with a commanding 336-run victory over England. Mohammed Siraj’s brilliant catch sent Jos Tongue back, and the tail couldn’t offer much resistance. Brydon Carse's late 38-run cameo only narrowed the margin of defeat. India bowled England out for 272, sealing a historic 336-run win and levelling the five-match series 1-1.

This win was particularly special as it marked India’s first Test victory at Edgbaston since 1967. The venue had haunted them with seven losses and a lone draw, but Young India shattered that jinx with confidence and class.
