In a video that has now gone viral, a major brawl ensued in the Arun Jaitley stadium, formerly known as the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium during India’s clash with Afghanistan on 11th October. Certain rumours on social media suggested that one of the fans was shouting Naveen-Naveen when the rest of the crowd was shouting Kohli-Kohli. There are other versions of the event as well which claim that the fight broke out due to the occupation of the front row.

On the field however, Indian batsman Kohli and Afganisthani pacer Naveen-Ul-Haq patched up after an intense rivalry in the Indian Premier League earlier this year. They shook hands and ended their conflict. Kohli even urged the crowd in Delhi to stop heckling Naveen-Ul-Haq during his bowling spell. The two even had a friendly chat after the match. Crowds will chant for their home cricketers and that is what they did. “It is Kohli’s home ground, It was always in the ground, there was nothing outside the ground,People made it big. They need that stuff for their followers. We are done with that and I said yes we are done with that'. We shook hands and hugged,” Naveen-ul-Haq stated after the match.
