In a video that has now gone viral, Indian-American businessman Vivek Randave, a fan of Indian batsman Virat Kohli can be seen displaying a jersey with Virat Kohli’s nametag and jersey number on it. “Hey Virat, Congratulations you guys won again! And you’re really messing with my sleep because I live in Northern California and I wake up really early every day to watch the boys in blue,” Vivek Randave says in the video.

Vivek Randave recently gained ownership of the Sacramento Kings, a National Basketball Association (NBA) team based in California. He made a bid of 341 million dollars with an additional 250 million dollars as public money. The jersey he made for Kohli also belongs to the same franchise.   “You keep winning and winning, you beat England, congrats! And I own the Sacramento Kings and I got your own shirt for you, so I’m hoping to see you soon. Maybe when you win it all and you lift the trophy, I’ll get to see you. But good luck. And Jai ho!” he stated in the video. 

The T20 World Cup of 2024 would be held jointly in the USA and West Indies. Hopefully that would provide an opportunity for the two to meet!
