T20 World Cup would be held in June 2024

India would be touring South Africa for 5 T20s, 3 ODIs and 2 test matches

The drought of ICC trophies for team India is set to extend up to 10 years after a 192-run stand between Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head ensured a comfortable 6-wicket victory for Australia in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. 

Indian fans would be dejected but the T20 World Cup in 2024 which would be jointly hosted by the United States of America and West Indies offers yet another opportunity for the team. This would be held in June 2024. 

Until then India would have a 5-match T-20 series against Australia which would commence on 23rd November. India would be touring South Africa for 5 T20s, 3 ODIs and 2 test matches in the months of December and January. They would subsequently host Afghanistan for 3 T20s in January. A 5-match test series would then be held in England extending from January until March. The two test series between South Africa and England would be part of the third edition of the World Test Championship which is being held over the extended duration of 2023 to 2025. 

Indian fans would be disheartened but when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
