Pakistani television host, sports presenter and commentator Zainab Abbas has reportedly left India over safety concerns. Vineet Jindal, a supreme court lawyer filed a complaint against her on October 5th with respect to an allegedly anti-Hindu and anti-India post that was made on X(formerly known as Twitter) in 2014. “Hahaha true it does man went Delhi and it smells of cow piss. Oops that’s their maaa kaali na(sic),” the tweet read. This was before she was a presenter and worked as a make-up artist. Her username was @zainablovesrk back then. It is currently @ZAbbasoffical.
Advocate Vineet Jindal shared his complaint on X. “Complaint against @ZAbbasOfficial filed by Advocate & Social Activist @vineetJindal19 with cyber cell Delhi Police.Requesting to lodge FIR under section 153A,295,506,121 IPC and sec67 IT Act for making derogatory remarks for Hindu faith and beliefs and for anti -Bharat statements. Zainab must be removed from list of presenters on immediate basis from ICC World Cup by @ICC & @BCCI .Anti Bharat people are not welcome in Bharat,(sic)” he posted on X. He had also tagged Home Minister of India, Amit Shah, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and BCCI secretary Jay Shah in his post.
