Daniel Balaji’s eyes provide lease of hope to 2 patients after his death

Kollywood actor Daniel Balaji passed away owing to a sudden heart attack on 29th March. His eyes have been donated post his death. This is as per a decision taken by him before his death. This has made him leave lasting impressions even after his death. 

His eyes were kept in a safe environment in the government hospital. As per reports, this has proved to be beneficial to 2 other patients. 2 families have expressed gratitude after successful eye operations.  

Daniel Balaji had won the hearts of audiences through memorable performances in a career that lasted for a span of three decades. He debuted through a serial before venturing into films. He also appeared in Kannada films such as Kirataka, Shivajinagara, Bengaluru Underworld and Dove.

Daniel complained of chest pain on the night of 29th March. He was taken to a private hospital. He did not respond to the treatment and eventually passed away. Daniel was 48-years-old. 

An atmosphere of gloom prevails across the Kollywood industry. Condolence messages have been pouring in on social media.
