For the last  many days since actor Darshan’s arrest, some of his fans have stood by him. However, as days go on, other fans have realised that supporting an accused, irrespective of his stardom, doesn’t bode well for them or their conscience.

Darshan and his gang stand accused of murdering Renukaswamy, who was allegedly abducted from Chitradurga and brought to Bengaluru. Reports indicate that a mob of around 17 people led Renukaswamy into a shed. Allegedly, Darshan personally attacked him with intense aggression. It is further claimed that Renukaswamy was subjected to electric shocks before being killed. His body was later disposed of in a drain, seemingly to stage the crime as a murder connected to financial fraud. In this case, Darshan is designated as A2, while Pavitra Gowda is identified as A1.

Even as we file this report, Darshan will be produced before a local court after the court had extended his policy custody by 2 days. The police had informed the court that they needed to confront Darshan with the medical reports in order to ascertain his role in the issue.

Darshan is A2 while Pavitra is A1 in the case.
