Darshan, identified as Accused 2 (A2) in the high-profile Renukaswamy murder case, is reportedly receiving preferential treatment from jail authorities, sparking public outcry and skepticism about the integrity of the prison system.

According to allegations, officials at the prison are bending rules to facilitate easier access for visitors wishing to meet Darshan. This special treatment, which stands in stark contrast to the standard procedures followed for other inmates, has raised serious questions about fairness and transparency within the correctional facility.

Several sources claim that Darshan's visitors are being granted extended meeting hours and are able to bypass usual security protocols. "It's a clear case of some being more equal than others," commented a local activist. "While the judicial system promises equality before the law, the reality seems different for those with influence."

The controversy has drawn sharp criticism. Darshan and others were arrested last June 11 as the police suspected them to be involved in the kidnapping and murder of Renukaswamy, a pharmacy store worker. He was led into a shed and beaten up brutally and brazenly, killing him on the spot. His body was later disposed of in a drain on the pretext of a murder only for gain.
