Darshan fans take out 8 KM long procession to pray for his release

The arrest of Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Staron suspicion of involvement in the murder of Renukaswamy has caused immense distress to his fans. They have offered prayers to god in anticipation of his release. A procession was taken out by Darshan fans to a temple with his photo by their side. 

The procession took place in the Yaradone village in the Lingasugur taluk of the Raichur district. The fans headed to the famous Amareshwara temple. The procession was roughly 8 kilometres long. A garland was affixed on a photo of Darshan. “Darshan and his gang have been arrested. We revere Sri Amareshwara in this region. We prayed for the quick release of Darshan from this case. If Darshan has erred, the law and the government will take their due course of action. If he hasn’t erred however, suitable steps should also be taken in that regard. Without a verdict of guilt, the proceedings are causing pain to Darshan and his fans,” one of Darshan’s fans remarked.

The fans also vouched for Darshan’s character which wouldn’t permit him to take such a course of action. They highlighted his positive actions in the past. They express solidarity with him during trying times.
