Darshan, who typically consumes a diet rich in meat and juice, finds the prison food bland and unpalatable. This significant change in diet has taken a toll on his well-being. According to sources, he has neither eaten well nor slept soundly since being placed in judicial custody.
Renukaswamy was allegedly murdered after sending inappropriate messages to Pavitra Gowda, Darshan's close associate. The crime involved kidnapping Renukaswamy, beating him severely, and disposing of his body in a drain. Following his arrest, Darshan, along with the other accused, was sent to Parappana Agrahara, where he now faces multiple charges including murder, extortion, and kidnapping.
Meanwhile, Vijayalakshmi, Darshan's wife, is working tirelessly to secure his bail, enlisting the help of famed criminal lawyer CV Nagesh. Despite these efforts, the police have expressed concerns that the accused might conspire to mislead the investigation. As a result, they have sought a court order to transfer Darshan to another facility.
Today, the court will hear the police's petition regarding the transfer. Darshan’s struggle with prison conditions adds another layer of complexity to an already intense legal battle, drawing significant public and media attention.
The outcome of today's hearing will be crucial, not only for the progress of the investigation but also for Darshan's immediate circumstances.
