Cops clueless as fans run amok

Darshan, A2 in the Renukaswamy murder case is in jail. But his idiosyncratic fans are running amok. In a video that has gone viral, a Darshan fan has resorted to tilting his auto, with Darshan’s UTP in the background. The auto can be seen running with impunity.

Though the police have reiterated that they have kept an eye on such daredevilry, much has to be translated on the ground. 

Earlier this month, parents of a 1-year-old child were issued notices for dressing the child in the prisoner uniform of Darshan. They had even circulated the photos of the child on social media, thereby inviting massive wrath. 

The case 

Darshan and others had been arrested last 11 on the charges of murdering Renukaswamy. He was kidnapped from Chitradurga and led into a shed in Bengaluru’s RR Nagar, where he was brutally beaten up. It is alleged that he had sent lewd messages to A1 Pavitra Gowda, who was irked and sought her friend’s help to teach him a lesson. 

After he was murdered, his body was disposed of in a drain, in order to portray it as a murder for gain. However, the police are too good to be fooled.
