The 42nd Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Court has provided the police 6 days of custody of Darshan and 13 others suspected to have been involved in the murder of Renukaswamy. This comes as a shock to the Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star.
The lawyers of Darshan spoke with the media after this decision was passed. “I am not aware of the political or personal equations involved in this case. Darshan and Pavithra are both innocent. The act of the murder is condemnable. I wish the perpetrators are arrested. However there is no relation between Darshan and the murder. Darshan’s name has been intentionally added to the case at a later stage,” the lawyers argued.

The truth in this matter will come to light once the investigation picks up pace. The police would have to provide a report to the court once every 2 days. The police are allowed to meet the suspects every day. The verdict of their guilt will be given by the court. This isn’t the first Darshan has been faced with legal trouble. His lawyers however seem to have clarity about his innocence.
