Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are preparing for a new chapter in their lives as they anticipate the arrival of their first child. The couple announced their pregnancy in February this year, and according to recent reports, Deepika will be on maternity leave until March 2025.

Reportedly, Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly awaiting the birth of their baby, expected on September 28 at a hospital in South Bombay. The actress is currently enjoying her break from work and is focused on preparing for motherhood.

Following her maternity leave, Deepika is set to return to the big screen with the highly anticipated sequel of “Kalki,” where she will share the screen with industry giants Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.

In addition to their growing family, Deepika and Ranveer are also planning to move into a new luxury apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. The sea-facing quadruple-level residence, located next to Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mannat bungalow, is nearing completion. The expansive home will span floors 16 through 19, offering over 11,000 square feet of living space and a private terrace.

The couple, who began dating during the filming of “Ram Leela” in 2013 and married in 2018, continue to balance their personal and professional lives. Deepika has recently appeared in hits like “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” while Ranveer is busy with his next project, an espionage thriller directed by Aditya Dhar.
