Deepika Padukone opens up about her emotional bond with Mumbai and Bengaluru

Deepika Padukone has opened up about a question that always leaves her conflicted, choosing between her  hometown, Bengaluru and her current base, Mumbai. In a heartfelt instagram video posted on Wednesday, the actress shared her deep connection with both cities while getting her hair styled. When asked whether she prefers “Bombay or Bengaluru,” Deepike smiled and admitted it’s a tough call.

She fondly recalled her time in Bengaluru, saying it feels like home every time she returns. The city holds her childhood memories, her schooling and her college days, moments she considers the most formative  in her life. Deepika, who welcomed her daughter Dua last year, also mentioned how special those early years were.

At the same time, she expressed her strong bond with Mumbai, calling it the place where he professional journey began and her current home. She added that the city’s energy is unlike any other and holds a unique place in her heart.
