In a coincidental move, Anju Bhavnani, Deepika's mother-in-law and mother to Ranveer Singh, bought the neighbouring apartment for Rs 19.13 crore in the same month. This property, slightly smaller at 1,822.45 square feet, also features a parking spot. The deal for Anju's apartment saw a stamp duty of Rs 95.68 lakh and a similar registration fee.
Adding to the family's real estate portfolio, Anju Bhavnani's newly acquired apartment was immediately leased to her daughter Ritika Bhavnani and son-in-law Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani. The lease agreement, under R.S. Filmcraft (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. and Oh Five Oh Talent LLP, spans 55 months with an initial monthly rent of Rs 8.20 lakh, set to increase by 15% after 33 months.
This series of transactions highlights the ongoing trend of high-profile real estate investments in Bandra West, a favored locale among Bollywood celebrities. Recent acquisitions in the area include properties by Aamir Khan, Tripti Dimri, and cricket star K.L. Rahul with Athiya Shetty, underscoring Bandra's status as a celebrity hotspot for luxury living.
