Bengaluru’s busy Tumakuru Road may soon see metro connectivity, as BJP MP from Bangalore Central, P.C. Mohan, announced that the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is preparing to begin commercial operations on the Nagasandra-Madavara stretch. In his announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Mohan informed the public of the upcoming operations, stating, “BMRCL will soon begin commercial operations on the Nagasandra-Madavara stretch along Tumakuru Road, one of Bengaluru’s busiest routes.”

However, noted industrialist and outspoken advocate for Bengaluru’s infrastructure, Mohandas Pai, responded with criticism, questioning the delay in completing the project. Tagging several key political leaders and officials, Pai commented, “When is this? @mlkhattar Ji you are disappointing people who voted for NDA. You got 5 seats here, and all you give us is delays. Big shame. Is this what you stand for? Insensitive, cruel; why are our MPs not fighting for us except @Tejasvi_Surya?”
