  • Raghav Chadda was attacked by a crow outside the parliament
  • BJP tweeted about the incident
  • Monsoon session of the parliament is underway

AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) leader Raghav Chadda was spotted outside the parliament building, carrying files in one arm and talking on a phone on what appeared to be a routine day for a duty bound politician. What part of his custom or conduct irked a crow passing by him remains unknown for the moment, but it ferociously charged at him and quickly disappeared from the field of action. He was left scampering and shocked after the attack. This sequence of events was caught on camera and was quite a spectacle for observers.

BJP’s ( Bharatiya Janata Party) Delhi unit posted the photo on their twitter handle with the caption, “Jhooth bole, kauva khaate, aaj tak sirf suna tha, aaj dekh bhi liya kauve ne jhoote ko kaata” (The crow bites liars, till today this was just a saying, but today we also witnessed a crow biting a liar). This is a reference to a popular idiom. BJP leader Tejjinder Singh Bagga also posted the photo with a sarcastic remark. “I am deeply saddened by the attack on esteemed MLA Raghav Chadda. I hope you are back to good health shortly,” he said. Meanwhile, the monsoon session of the parliament is underway.
