Delv.AI, founded by the 16-year-old Indian prodigy Pranjali Awasthi, has secured an impressive funding of Rs 3.7 crore and currently boasts an estimated valuation of Rs 100 crore (approximately $12 million).
Pranjali Awasthi's entry into the tech world was spurred by her father's passion for coding, which she embarked on at the tender age of 7.
In January 2022, Awasthi launched Delv.AI, a startup with a primary focus on enhancing data extraction processes for research purposes. To date, the company has successfully raised $450,000 (Rs 3.7 crore) in funding and has a dedicated team of up to 10 employees.
At the age of 13, she began interning at research labs in Florida International University, where she actively participated in machine learning projects while simultaneously attending school.
It was during these internship experiences that she began pondering the potential of AI to address critical issues, ultimately giving rise to the concept of Delv.AI.
In 2021, Pranjali earned a spot in an AI startup accelerator in Miami, organized by tech enthusiasts Lucy Guo and Dave Fontenot from Backend Capital. She temporarily stepped away from her high school studies, and the accelerator served as a springboard for attracting investments from notable names such as On Deck and Village Global.
Pranjali Awasthi elucidated that Delv.AI's primary mission is to facilitate researchers in accessing specific information within the vast realm of online content.
