In a historic triumph, Denmark's Victoria Kjaer, 21, clinched the Miss Universe 2024 title, becoming the first-ever winner from her country. The grand event, held in Mexico, saw Mexico’s María Fernanda Beltrán as the first runner-up and Nigeria’s Cnidimma Adetshina securing the second runner-up position.

India's Rhea Singha, who had captivated audiences during the preliminary rounds, fell short of entering the top 12. Despite advancing to the top 30, the 19-year-old from Gujarat could not secure a spot in the crucial semifinal round.
The top 12 contestants dazzled in the evening gown segment, showcasing designs inspired by their countries’ cultures. Among the finalists, Latin America dominated with seven representatives. The pageant's top five finalists included participants from Mexico, Nigeria, Thailand, Venezuela, and Denmark.
The final round featured a rigorous Q&A segment, assessing contestants' poise and critical thinking. The crown was eventually awarded to Kjaer, marking a monumental victory for Denmark.
