The much-anticipated action drama Devara Part 1 is making waves not only for its storyline and star-studded cast but also for the hefty salaries its actors have secured.
According to reports, Jr NTR, who headlines the film, has significantly increased his remuneration after the blockbuster success of RRR. For Devara, the star reportedly charged a whopping Rs 60 crore, marking a 33% increase from his RRR fee of Rs 45 crore. Jr NTR’s dual roles in the film as Devara and Varadha have generated massive buzz, adding further intrigue to his character portrayal.

Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor, making her Tollywood debut with Devara, initially signed on for Rs 3.5 crore. However, reports suggest she successfully negotiated a raise and now commands Rs 5 crore for her role in the film. Her presence in the project has been a major talking point, as fans eagerly await her performance alongside Jr NTR.
Saif Ali Khan, who portrays the primary antagonist, has also secured a significant paycheck. The Bollywood star was reportedly paid Rs 10 crore for his role as the villain, which is a crucial part of the storyline.
Veteran actor Prakash Raj, known for his versatile roles, plays an important part in Devara and was reportedly paid Rs 1.5 crore. Additionally, Srikanth, who plays the character Rayappa, was paid Rs 50 lakh. Other actors in the supporting cast, including Murali Sharma and Narain, were each compensated Rs 40 lakh for their roles.
Devara Part 1 delves into the theme of fear, and with Jr NTR’s dual roles, high-octane action sequences, and an impressive cast lineup, it is shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases in Indian cinema.
