Early this morning, the film’s production team took to social media to announce the jaw-dropping numbers: Devara raked in an astounding ₹172 crore gross worldwide on its opening day.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film has now cemented NTR’s place in cinematic history, smashing multiple non-RRR records both domestically and overseas. In North America alone, the film grossed close to $3.4 million on day one.
Closer to home, Devara collected ₹54.21 crore (exclusive of GST) across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Ceded regions—making it one of the biggest openings ever, second only to S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR, which also starred NTR. Meanwhile, the film’s Hindi version added ₹7.5 crore to the total tally.
With Bollywood heavyweights Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles, and a powerful soundtrack by Anirudh Ravichander, Devara promises to be a box office juggernaut.
