The highly anticipated film Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, has been granted a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), as per reports from Bollywood Hungama. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is set to release on September 27, featuring the Telugu debuts of Bollywood actors Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

In compliance with the CBFC's guidelines, the makers of Devara made four key modifications. The changes primarily toned down violent scenes: one where a character kicks his wife was altered, another depicting a mother being kicked was modified, and a five-second shot of a body hanging on a sword was removed entirely. Additionally, a scene where Jr NTR rides a shark now includes a ticker clarifying that the shark is computer-generated imagery (CGI).
With these changes, the film is ready for release. Devara: Part 1 will be available in Telugu, as well as dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film tells an epic saga of friendship and betrayal set in forgotten coastal regions.
Devara also features Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko in prominent roles. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film showcases cinematography by Rathnavelu ISC, production design by Sabu Cyril, and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Following Devara, Jr NTR is set to appear in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan.
